Edmund Yeo
杨毅恒Edmund Yeo is a Malaysian director of Chaoshan descent, born in Singapore, educated in Australia, and based in Japan. He made his name internationally with his debut feature The River of Exploding Durians, which he wrote, directed and edited. His collaborative works include The Stone Turtle (FIPRESCI Prize, Locarno), Tiger Factory (Directors' Fortnight, Cannes), and Aqerat (Orizzonti, Venice). On March 6, 2024, he was invited by KwanTeo for a creative sharing session featuring the film.

杨毅恒（Edmund Yeo），马来西亚青年导演，出生于新加坡，求学于澳大利亚，常住日本，祖籍潮汕。蜚声国际影坛，首部长片《榴莲忘返》（The River of Exploding Durians）由其编剧、导演与剪辑。2024年3月6日应观潮之邀进行创作分享，展映该片。 合作影片包括《岩龟传说》（洛迦诺电影节费比西国际影评人奖）、《虎厂》（戛纳导演双周）、《遗情》（威尼斯地平线单元）。
