Zheng Yingshi
郑应时Zheng Yingshi was a Chinese film director from Chaozhou, Guangdong, one of the notable early Chaoshan filmmakers in Shanghai, together with Chen Bo'er, Chen Kengran and Zhou Daming. He began as a film consultant and screenwriter in the late 1920s, then turned to directing in the 1930s, experimenting with sound-film technology. In 1933 he directed Spring Tide (Chunchao), the first Chinese sound-on-film picture made with a domestically produced recording device; in 1934 he wrote and directed Fei Hua Cun. In 1941 he served as producer on Qiancheng Wanli.

郑应时，广东潮州人，中国早期电影导演。1933 年执导《春潮》，采用"鹤鸣通"录音设备，是中国第一部使用国产电影录音设备制作的片上发音影片。与陈波儿、陈铿然、周达明等潮汕影人共同在上海电影圈形成潮汕乡缘社群。
