About the Work
Haozai has drifted into despair in the city after upheaval at home. When he learns that his father is ill and the family business is collapsing, he returns, practises the family’s goose-braising techniques and takes up Yingge again. After setbacks, he earns recognition at a village ritual and revives the family shop.
The China Film Administration record names Deng Xiaotao as screenwriter and Jingrui Pictures (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. as the filing company, under story-film filing No. 1946 of 2025, with approval to shoot. This account follows the filed story; actual filming and release progress has not been confirmed.
