Moving images that begin in Chaoshan travel with people, language, and lived experience. Years later, they may return as a file, a photograph, or a remembered story.
KwanTeo works with material holders, creators, researchers, festivals, and cultural institutions to identify and understand these traces. Collaboration is not simply a transfer of material. It is a shared process of establishing provenance, restoring connections, and deciding how something should be preserved, studied, and made visible.
