Lan Canzhao
蓝灿昭Lan Canzhao (born December 1994, Chifeng town, Chao'an district, Chaozhou, Guangdong) is a young Chinese director, screenwriter, producer and editor. After his 20,000-yuan feature debut Dog (2015), he has been a lead creator on more than 20 works spanning fiction, documentary and animation, screened at Cannes, Berlin, Karlovy Vary, Shanghai, Pingyao and Moscow. In 2023 he wrote, produced and edited the Chaoshan-dialect short A Bright Sunny Day (dir. He Yupeng), selected for the Cinéfondation section at the 76th Cannes Film Festival; in 2024 his directed short Summer's End Poem won the Generation Kplus International Jury Best Short Film award at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival (Crystal Bear nomination) and made the shortlist for the 98th Academy Awards Best Live Action Short Film. His feature The Sunny Place, starring Jin Sha, premiered at the 48th Moscow International Film Festival in 2026. He is regarded as the first director to bring the Chaoshan dialect to international festival screens.

蓝灿昭，1994 年生于广东潮州潮安区赤凤镇，中国青年导演、编剧，身兼摄影师、剪辑师、制片人、监制多重身份。2015 年以 2 万元成本的长片处女作《狗》起步，十年间以《夏日句点》（2024，柏林电影节新生代单元最佳短片）、《夏至前天》（2023，戛纳电影基石单元）等作品亮相全球 300 余个国际电影节，被称为"首位将潮汕方言带上国际电影节银幕的导演"。
