Springtime KwanTeo 2023
新春观潮2023Springtime KwanTeo came to Jieyang on 26 January 2023. A walk through the old city led to an evening screening of Lu Xiaohao's Guanbu A Week at the Jieyang watch-strap factory, followed by a conversation with the filmmakers.
About the Topic
The local Wenhua Luojiao team planned the route through Jieyang's old city. Later, the audience moved to the former watch-strap factory for the screening, bringing the day's encounters with the city's streets into a different kind of shared space.
Unlike a multi-film programme, the evening centred on one feature: Guanbu A Week. Director Lu Xiaohao and cast members Zheng Jieting, Ji Huanxin and Chen Xiaofeng joined the audience afterward. The walk and the conversation around a single film gave this Spring Festival gathering its own shape.
