Connection
寂坟In Xiao Zeyu's short Connection, Abao searches for a phone signal among hillside graves so that a ghost can reach his daughter.
About the Work
Abao cannot speak, but he can help his ghostly friend make a call. He dials the daughter's number and moves through the graves looking for reception, turning a small practical difficulty into the film's central action.
Developed through KwanTeo Lab, Connection received the first Qing Ganlan Jiang (Green Olive Award) (TBC) and screened in the 2026 spring programme.
