千千阙歌Kevin Té's short Des milliers de chansons follows Aline, whose routine of packing handbags at a logistics centre is interrupted by an unexpected event one evening.
About the Work
Aline travels between her apartment and a logistics centre, where she packs handbags on an assembly line. The film first traces the repetition of that journey and then follows what happens when an evening breaks its pattern.
Made in 2018 as Kevin Té's graduation film at La Fémis, Des milliers de chansons uses Chaoshan Chinese and French. It screened at KwanTeo's summer programme in 2024.
