藏在土地里的人啊Kong Junying's Chaoshan-language short Gone People follows a man who begins seeing dead relatives as Qingming approaches.
About the Work
As his family prepares for Qingming, a man's sight changes: one eye can see relatives who have died. During the rites, he sees the living and the dead together, bringing loss into an otherwise familiar family gathering.
Gone People competed at the 2025 Cairo and Cittador film festivals and received Cittador's Gold Award for Best International Short Film.
