夏雨来2Xia Yu Lai 2 is a sequel in preparation. A dispute over a poisoned dog brings Xia Yu Lai and his adopted daughter Xia Laibi into a legal case that leads toward a wider conspiracy.
About the Work
Xia Yu Lai 2 begins with a case involving a poisoned dog. Xia Yu Lai loses an appeal for a poor dog owner to the lawyer Cao Jiu and asks his adopted daughter Xia Laibi to take part in the response. Their investigation eventually draws Cao Jiu and other neighbours into exposing a larger plot.
The project follows the Chaoshan-language feature Xia Yu Lai, released in 2025. Zheng Runqi and Adam Yang are credited as writers. The sequel remains in preparation.
