Adam Yang
杨哲霖Yang Zhelin (Adam Yang, born June 1991, Shantou, Guangdong) is a young Chinese director and screenwriter. After earning a BA from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, he completed an MFA in film directing at the Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Film. His graduation short Round Island Road (2017) won Best Screenplay at the 6th China International Micro Film Festival. He worked as a content executive at Fox Networks Group, participating in projects such as Eastern War Story, before returning to Chaoshan in 2024. As screenwriter and executive director of the all-Chaoshan-dialect theatrical feature Xia Yulai (2025), he helped bring the classic Chaoshan folklore IP to the big screen; the film grossed over 28 million RMB and became the first Chaoshan-dialect theatrical feature. In 2023 his short Ocean was selected for the Maritime Guangdong Young Filmmakers Programme (山海计划).

杨哲霖，1991 年生于广东汕头，青年导演、编剧。香港浸会大学电影学院 MFA 导演硕士，曾任 FOX 福斯传媒集团内容统筹。以 MFA 毕业作品《环岛公路》起步，2025 年以编剧+执行导演身份操盘全潮汕方言院线电影《夏雨来》（总票房超 2800 万），是潮汕在地创作的代表性青年影人。
