Rise of Yingge
潮起英歌（又名：英歌舞崛起）A Chinese-French co-production animated feature. Lucy, a Chinese-European teenager, returns to Chaoshan for her grandfather's funeral and accidentally enters the spiritual world of Yingge left by her grandfather. She fights alongside the 108 Heroes of the Marsh against inner demons, awakening bloodline memories and letting the Yingge drums echo from Chaoshan to the world.
About the Work
To protect the Yingge dance troupe and stop her father from selling the ancestral home, Lucy trains hard in Yingge, awakening bloodline memories and ultimately resolving her father's long-held heartache.
