Elsewhere
走神地Elsewhere is a short drama directed by Lin Tingxuan. Troubled by dreams in which she wakes crying, Amin travels to Thailand in search of her aunt.
About the Work
Elsewhere follows Amin's journey to Thailand in search of her aunt. Dreams that leave her crying accompany a path marked by processions in Fujian and Thailand's Songkran festival.
After meeting women who also cry in their sleep, Amin follows an older Thai woman into the rainforest towards a temple said to be free of dreams.
